Work experience/case studies:
- Acting for Borough of Poole Council on its outsourcing of its leisure centres to a private sector company including advice on drafting appropriate contractual arrangements to be set up on a partnering basis
- Advising South Gloucestershire Council in relation to setting up a charitable company limited by guarantee (and the issues of regulation and Director conflicts) to which its leisure services will be outsourced with appropriate leisure service agreement.
- Acting for a private developer in the planning appeal in respect of the Gloucester Docks redevelopment which focused on issues of City Centre regeneration, the contribution of commercial leisure to regeneration and PPG6 policy issues relating to Town Centre retail and leisure developments.
