We also advise on information technology issues relating to computer software and services, data protection, outsourcing, intellectual property and licensing.

Work experience/case studies:
- Advising the Home Office on the procurement and commercial implications of a significant, phased IT procurement. The project gave rise to a number of issues and our experience allowed us to advise on the various risks associated with the project. We took responsibility for coordinating the production and incorporation of the many contract documents.
- Advising the University of Bristol on commercial agreements with a leading energy supply company, and on partnering arrangements with four other universities to secure IT service provision.
- Advising Belmin Group Limited (a purchasing systems software house) on joint venture arrangements with the Crown Agents for Overseas Governments and Administrations Limited in relation to the sale and distribution of purchasing system software to Health Trusts.
- Appointed by the Met Office in respect of their supercomputer joint venture.
