Head injury

Head injuries are often particularly complex cases, because such injuries can affect the injured person's memory and their ability to deal with a claim for compensation themselves. We have considerable experience in dealing with such cases, both in handling claims for victims of head injury with the injured person themself, or liaising with someone else on their behalf - informally or through the Court of Protection.

  • We acted for a stable groom who successfully brought a claim against his employer for serious injuries sustained when a horse kicked him in the head whilst he was working at a race horse stud. The defendant disputed liability and the case went to court. We won a substantial six figure sum for him.
  • We represented a scaffolder who suffered multiple injuries, including brain damage, when he was hit on the head with a scaffolding pole. We won compensation of over half a million pounds.
  • We successfully represented a man who suffered a blow to the head when a metal bar he was using to prise materials apart flew back and struck him on the forehead.
