Personal Injury

Augustines Injury Law is the dedicated Personal Injury and union services division of leading law firm Veale Wasbrough.

We have one of the largest specialist personal injury and employment teams in the region and our extensive expertise enables us to recover millions of pounds in compensation for our clients every year whilst at the same time offering a friendly and approachable service. We have recovered over £6 million in damages for our clients in the last year.

We act for claimants handling a variety of claims, such as accidents at work, road traffic accidents and workplace illness claims.

We will work with you to achieve the best possible result.

We will provide a first rate legal service to a consistent standard of excellence. We will look after you during your case by dealing promptly with your claim, keeping you informed on how it is progressing, and will get you the best result that we can.

Claim funding

There are many different ways of funding a personal injury claim.

Our initial ‘no obligation’ meeting is free of charge and enables us to discuss your case and advise you of the best way forward.

We will also provide free independent advice on the best way to fund your claim. This could involve the use of legal expenses insurance or a conditional fee agreement, often referred to as ‘no win no fee’. You would not normally be expected to pay any money whilst your claim is progressing, or if it were to be unsuccessful.

Expertise

We have the expertise and skills to advise and assist you in bringing a personal injury claim. Our Head of Department is a Fellow of the College of Personal Injury Lawyers, a member of the Law Society's personal injury panel (see below) and Chairman of the Bristol's Civil Courts Committee. Our team consists of 17 members of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.

Law Society’s Personal Injury Panel

Only solicitors and legal executives who meet the Law Society’s strict requirements are permitted to join the panel. This demonstrates that our skills, knowledge and experience have been rigorously and independently assessed.

APIL

We have APIL accreditation, demonstrating that we have achieved a specific standard in personal injury. APIL is an independent, not for profit organisation providing accreditation to lawyers specialising in the area of personal injury law.

Headway

We are a member of Headway - the brain injury association. Headway promotes understanding of all aspects of head injury and provides information, support and services to people who have suffered a head injury, their family and carers.
