- We all have to rely on our professional advisors and sometimes that advice can be called into question. We have lawyers who are very experienced in the field of professional negligence and who in the last few years have been involved in one of the largest group actions taken against professionals and others for breach of their duties.
- Business contracts with others. Disputes arise on a whole range of issues. This can require an assessment of the rights and obligations of the parties, an evaluation of the relevant performance criteria, and advice on the quality of the goods and services in question.
Work experience/case studies:
- Advising an Independent Financial Adviser in a claim for damages and loss against a major insurance company based on their poor administration of a group pension plan such that the insured changed pension provider and IFA.
- Acting for private clients in a claim for damages and/or remedial action against 2 firms of solicitors who failed to advise of the existence of rights of way relating to a country house purchase.
- Acting for a house builder in a claim against a purchaser for failure to complete a purchase contract and against it's own solicitor for failure to sign the sale contract.
