Are you given adequate amounts of responsibility?

  I am given responsibility for resolving disputes which involve sometimes many millions of pounds and also disputes which may only involve several thousand pounds but which are of extreme importance to the parties involved.

  Yes. If one demonstrates a willingness and ability to take on responsibility, one quickly gets given more.

  Definitely.
• Jason Prosser, Partner - Construction
  Yes, at my level I am largely left to do most of the day to day work but am supervised where appropriate.

  Yes - I have always been given a lot of responsibility, even as a newly qualified lawyer. In fact, I completed a £2m acquisition within 6 weeks of qualification - a deal that I ran under the supervision of an Associate. As an Associate I am now largely responsible for the day to day management of the deals I am working on.
