Veale Wasbrough is delighted to be supporting the Evening Post Awards for a second year. The 2008 applications were testament to the growing diversity and opportunity in Bristol's business community.
Simon Pizzey, Veale Wasbrough's Managing Partner explained his part in the judging process;
"What's interesting for me as a judge is to find out what makes businesses successful. It's looking at how different businesses adapt to different environments. There are lots of exciting companies that we come across and this occasion gives them the opportunity to showcase their talents.
The panel had their work cut out assessing all the applications, but the thorough judging process that took place over a number of days, ensured that the selected finalists really were the best in the west
I'm looking forward to the ceremony on Thursday, if the last year's event was anything to go by it will be an exciting evening and a chance to celebrate the achievements of those short listed.
With over 2500 business clients and 75% of all our corporate and property transactions taking place in the West, we are committed to supporting and encouraging excellence in the region.
I'd like to take this opportunity to wish our finalists the best of luck and an enjoyable night."
There are ten categories in all, the winners will be announced at Bristol's Ashton Gate on May 15 during a gala dinner.
